   I have today taken part in a phone appointment with a GP. I needed advice and medication to relieve polyneuropathy and back and muscle pain. I have suffered 5 years chronic and acute pain. I am 75 and I was given no advice and no treatment. Why ? I asked if I could be referred to a neurologist to ask their advice and was refused. Why? I think the NHS and GP s should be ashamed that they wont allow being given answers if a patient wants to help themselves.. Is a neurologist so eliteist and unapproachable that they cannot be asked questions by an ordinary patient
