This is the worst GP surgery ever to have existed. Absolutely awful service, the receptionist are rude and the doctor is completely unprofessional. He told me I was lying about my symptoms during a phone call and hung up on me. Absolutely terrible.

Rude receptionists, doctors who don't care, absolutely awful practice, no care for the patients. Doctors very unprofessional. Receptionists arrogant and rude.

Ridiculous wait times for even basic services, dismissive attitude and unbelievably rude from doctors down to reception staff. The only good GP has now left so avoid at all costs.

Every single visit I take to the Bakersfield Medical centre seemingly gets better and better each time. I am truly grateful to all the staff that work there because not only are they very supportive and attentive to my needs, they are passionate in what they do and they ensure that every single patient that visits the medical centre are taken care of to the highest of standards. I feel like I am visiting a group a friends whenever I go and that can often be very comforting because if I have to make a visit to the medical centre for something serious regarding my health, all my anxiety and stress prior to visiting immediately goes away whenever I step foot in the building. The enthusiasm and warm welcomes of all the staff make me appreciative and assured that I will be getting looked after with the best treatment possible. The saying to 'trust someone with your life' couldn't be more understated with Bakersfield Medical Centre because again whilst their jobs obviously are to ensure your health is well with anything and everything, I really trust the GP with my life and I know, no matter how severe or critical my health could potentially be, he is the only person I can truly rely on as well the other amazing members of staff at the surgery. I wish all Medical centres share this same ethic, professionalism and love because it will truly make the NHS that more efficient than it already is. I cannot recommend Bakersfield Medical Centre enough, because they are to me, the best of the best.

I recently needed to see a doctor quickly and was pleasantly surprised to be seen so quickly when I know that my work colleagues have great difficulty in getting doctors appointments elsewhere. The GP looked in detail in to my problem and discussed the possible diagnoses with me. A prescription relieved the immediate problem while further action continues to resolve the issue. I am grateful for the considerate, professional care I am getting.
