  1. Review titled Terrible practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had a blood test taken in July 2023. It only came to light in October 2023, when I asked about the result, that the lab hasn't tested the bloods due to the practice not labelling them correctly. Absolutely rubbish GP surgery.

  2. Review titled Fantastic GP Appointment

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Called the practice and got an appointment for 20 minutes later. The doctor was a junior doctor and was very clear and understanding. She was very thorough and explained to me at all times what she was doing and thinking, the whole thing was really reassuring.

  3. Review titled Unsafe

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I contacted this practice with the symptoms of a serious lung infection in May 2022 having been registered as a patient for more than 10 years. I was unable to speak with a doctor but the practice offered a callback with the nurse. I accurately described my symptoms but the nurse would not listen and insultingly suggested it was hayfever. She became increasingly condescending when I tried to calmly persuade that it was not hayfever: since when has a temperature and soaking sweats been a symptom of hayfever? I eventually ended up in A&E seriously unwell over a week later. I have been left with lung inflammation having previously had no such respiratory issues and being a fit and active non-smoker. If the practice nurse, or the trainee GP that I subsequently saw, had provided a reasonably accurate diagnosis together with antibiotics in a timely manner, my health wouldn't have deteriorated and the long term damage could have been avoided. When mentioning this unsafe service with a practice manager, she quipped that I could go elsewhere if unhappy. If someone who can communicate clearly receives a service well below what NHS patients are reasonably entitled to expect, how do vulnerable people get on? There needs to be a major improvement to be able to recommend this practice as safe.
