  1. Review titled Amazingly prompt response

Rated 4 stars out of 5

Having just logged on to the NHS for the first time in several years I was confused to see only some of my long list of medications on the list to reorder. Instead of perusing the site a bit more, I panicked and sent a prescription request stating that the list needed to be updated and for the reason given. Within five minutes I received a text back explaining why and what I should do!! Amazing service and very diplomatically explained too. Wanted to thank the prescription staff for this but couldn't get to grips with the online form!!! Thank you for your amazingly prompt reply, Prescription staff.

  2. Review titled Disappointed

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Front desk reception rude and abrupt. No caring manner towards the patients waiting to check in. Not helpful when feeling unwell and needing attention. Witnessed uncaring attitude towards the older population Saw 2 GPs that were helpful and caring in a busy clinic. But the front welcome was very disappointing. The reception team that answered the telephone were helpful When you are not feeling well you expect a caring attitude. They should not be working in a care field. And surprised nothing has Ben said before or if it has it has been ignored

  3. Review titled Reception

Rated 2 stars out of 5

My partner has just dropped a sample down on my behalf and I was surprised at what he experienced. It was really busy, so was happy to queue and wait. The gentleman in front of him was trying to discreetly tell the lady on reception that he had a person problem to do with his genitals and she was not discreet at all and was very loudly asking him questions that he clearly didn't want everyone to hear. Surely being a receptionist in a medical situation you need to be discreet and mindful of the patients. When it came to dropping the sample off, he was meet with rudeness! My doctor asked for the sample and I was given a stool sample pot. There was no form or bag and no instructions on when to drop it off, which is all the things she was very sharp about. If this what is needed then surely the receptionist needs to speak with the doctors for not directing the patients properly!! Everyone is under pressure at the moment and if you have signs saying "verbal, physical abuse and rudeness won't be tolerated" this also should be the case when receptionist or any member of staff speaks with the public - we also don't appreciate being spoken too in a rude manner and certainly when around sensitive matters

  4. Review titled Awful awful place

Impossible to get an appointment lines busy constantly and if you get through you're in a huge queue waiting an hour to get through just to be greeted with rude reception staff. Always told "urgent only" like they're doing you a favour and that's too much to ask of them. Doctors Google information and most are generally useless! I was sat at A&E for 4h with my child because I couldn't get through at all just to be told nothing we can do for you see your GP which Is again not accessible my child has been fobbed off for a month and not getting better GPs advise is useless and unhelpful being passed around between GP and urgent care neither couldn't care less. If you can't handle the volume of patients maybe there should be something done about it

  5. Review titled Superb reassuring service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

A huge thank you to the desk staff. I needed urgent 8am help and advice for my dad. The 2 ladies couldn't have been more helpful. Their kind, reassuring and professional attention was exactly right. Thank you very much. A worried daughter.

  6. Review titled Not fit for purpose

Rated 1 star out of 5

Absolutely dreadful place , staff have no interest and it’s impossible to get an appointment , I have spent hours trying to get through on the phone only to be told I have to sort it myself..!! I was forced to be without my antidepressants fir 5 days , I was so close to killing my self and they didn’t care . I rang today as I cut my finger tip open with a pair of secateurs and it is infected , they refused to help me & said I had to go to Froome th a medical centre . I am disabled , elderly and have no friends in the area that can take me so that’s not possible yet still they won’t help me , so I am at home alone and in pain because my HP Surgery doesn’t care . If you have another option for another practice I strongly suggest you take it as this one isn’t fit for purpose
