Tried order repeat prescription it was straight forward to do online not now they have made a right pigs ear of it. So I phoned to then be told after a 25 min wait your unable to order repeat prescription over phone ? You either do it online or call in to surgery . So I called in surgery 2 patients waiting to see doctor nobody on reaction it’s closed …box were you should drop your repeat prescription not now being used.. Doctors surgery closed.merged 3 surgeries into 1 and close on Thursday what a total joke…. It’s is 2024 this surgery is an absolute joke since the last 2 Doctors retired….. feel sorry for the elderly this must be a nightmare….

Thank you for taking time to leave a review about Atlas Medical Practice. I am sorry that you have had a problem ordering your prescription. Thursday 25th April in the afternoon was a protected learning time for all GP practices in the area. Patients are informed of this via our social media and there is a notice in the waiting room. The practice has recently changed websites and all patients had been informed of the changes via text with instructions on how to re-order prescriptions using the new site, instructions are also available at Reception. There is also the option to use the NHS App and our practice has recently invited all patients for a one to one demonstration and help with set up to use this service. The Box for prescriptions at Reception was broken this week, but has now been fixed, there was a note on the box informing patient to place their requests at the reception desk. I am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused. The practice is open as normal today and we are happy to take your prescription request.

Went for blood tests and received results on the 16th Jan. There was also a message to say ‘routine NHS’ appontment as Results were that I had consistent low iron. 2 weeks later I hadn’t received a call so I rang the surgery I was told that I was on a list and the doctor would call me . A week later I called as I hadn’t received a call and was told to keep visiting the website to book an apointment. Visited the website every day for a week and nothing. It has been 7 weeks since and I have just managed to get an appointment via the NHS app. I am very tired and feeling unwell. I am disappointed that although this isn’t major it could have been sorted and I could be feeling better. I also have high blood pressure which was the reason for the blood tests of which has not been re discussed as the blood test results haven’t been discussed.

I called in today for my Covid and flu jabs. I was welcomed by a lovely smiling face, as I always am at this practice. The clinicians and all the staff are always so caring and really listen to you. Thank you, please don't change

I have been into the practice this morning. The reception staff are so kind and helpful. The clinician I saw was so nice, patient and kind. She explained everything to me, she was a delight to speak to and very professional. I highly recommend this practice never change

Surgery phoned as planned & I explained my situation.I was then told it was quite normal ( to put on 1st in weight) after being immobile for 12 months due to blocked artery in leg.I can't remember the ladies name who I spoke with,but she was very nice & explained things clearly

My first dealings with surgery this morning after registering with them. Excellent service and communication. My issue was dealt with immediately and I had 2 phone calls confirming what had been done. Very impressed. Thankyou

I visited the practice today, and could not have been looked after better. I phoned as soon as the practice had opened and had an appointment for 10.30. The nurse practitioner was lovely and extremely thorough. She went out of her way to help me, arranged the tests I needed and put my mind at rest. A great experience, thank you.

I am trying to reach the surgery to order medication for the last week. This evening(22.02.2023) I called the surgery at 17.00 and until the end of the day at 18.30 I waited on the call line without any success. This is not my first time having had issues with this surgery. I called @2 weeks ago asking for an apt with a GP in regards to a medical problem and I have been booked with the physiotherapist(he was brilliant and he agreed with me that my apt supposed to be with GP not with him) my problem was not about pain. Disgusting service and irresponsible receptionist. I can't understand how I can wait for 1 h and 30 minutes on both lines the prescription and booking lines.

I’ve been putting off going to the doctors about an issue for months. When I went for my appointment I felt rushed by the doctor. They showed little compassion, interest or understanding in my issue or circumstances. At some points they were outright hostile in their language and indirectly accused me of lying. After visiting I’ve felt worse and belittled by the doctor. I regret even making the appointment and this experience makes me hesitant about reaching out for assistance again.
