  2. Review titled Rude receptionist unable to get appointment

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 November 2023

After 63 phone calls this morning I drove to the practice to get an appointment to be told they had all been taken. Told to call back at 12, got through literally seconds before and receptionist was incredibly rude and hung up on me telling me to call back at 12. Pointless system where you can’t get an appointment for weeks

  4. Review titled You can never get an urgent appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 21 October 2022

The surgery has now changed it's on the day appointment system so instead of ringing at 8am you now ring at 10am. It has made zero difference and you find yourself stressed and anxious trying to get through to a phone which is constantly engaged. You frequently are in a queue and finally get through to be told the receptionist has just given out the last appointment. You then need to contact the GP Hub. This needs reviewing and a better system found as it's ridiculous that you can't get an urgent appointment with your own GP. If you are lucky enough to get one, it's never face to face. GP surgeries now need to open up to the world like everywhere else.
