Today after taking my dad to a hospital pre assessment they found an issue on his ECG, Aspen Centre saw him straightaway for another ECG and an emergency follow up , can't fault the swift action during this scary time.

My nurse was very friendly and thoughtful, she made sure I was happy with the procedure. The nurse was able to get my blood first time, it was relatively painless and quick.

Used to get my repeat prescription both medication at the beginning of the month and now someone at aspen house has split them apart by nearly two weeks when I’m struggling with it supplies at different times of the month!!

I was called in almost immediately after registering my arrival. The nurse was very friendly and put me at ease such that I didn't even feel the needle go in. I was in and out within 5 minutes of arrival.

Attended for my blood test appointment. Was seen on time. Everything checked with me. Usually have a little difficulty giving blood. Was done extremely quickly. Very smiley and chatty phlebotomist

Would like to recognise an excellent phlebotomist today. I have regular blood test for ongoing treatment. Even though I have regular tests I'm still not good at having the blood test. Whenever I get booked with this particular nurse (I forget her name) I'm always surprised how well she takes the blood with ease and in a calm manner. It is always painless when she does it so it eases any anxiety about having it done when I see her. My appointment was 12.37 on 2.2.24 at the aspen centre.

Today I called to speak to a pharmacist but the options have changed. After getting through to the ‘pharmacy team’ and spoke to a member of staff. I asked if I could speak to a pharmacist and was told no it was appointment only. I asked if this had recently changed as I’ve spoken to a pharmacist multiple times before and was told no it’s always been this way. It hasn’t! I asked again how I go about speaking to a pharmacist as when I last spoke to a pharmacist they told me to call back at anytime if I needed any help or advice with medication. Your member of staff then felt it appropriate to laugh at me! Is this how your staff are trained, to have no knowledge of how the system works and to laugh at patients when they are asking questions as to why these things were different a week ago. Due to the incompetence of your staff I’m now left with no medication and no understanding of how things now work. Your member of staff also mentioned that an appointment would be a few weeks which is nonsense as up until a week ago I have been able to call and speak directly to a pharmacist, get medication prescribed and ask questions about medications that I’m taking. (Your member of staff also said they would send me a text for an emergency prescription form) they didn’t! I am leaving feedback here but also will be making an official complaint along with asking for all recorded conversations (mainly the call where your staff think laughing at patients is appropriate behaviour)
