suggesting receptionists undergo customer training courses so they understand the importance of unwell patients anxiety on the other side Proposing to employ a nursing assistant or install a bp pod machine for blood pressure checks to prevent patients from going to A&E unnecessarily. Highlighting issues with 111 services directing patients to hospitals, resulting in long wait times. When patients go the A&E they are advised to go back the GP due to their long waiting times Expressing frustration with long wait times on the phone and being cut off by receptionists, leading to difficulty in booking appointments. Recommending the implementation of an online appointment system to reduce patient stress and improve the appointment process.

Absolutely horrified at the amount of time it takes to get through to reception - waiting 32 mins today and only stayed on the line as i needed to cancel an appointment and didnt want it to be a wasted slot for someone else, knowing how unlikely it is to get an appointment before 2/3 weeks. Almost impossible to get through to anyone and even more impossible to get an appointment within 2 weeks minimum. Puts a lot of pressure on secondary services.
