    Been trying to get phone consultation with doctor for a few days now, Yesterday booked phone consultation online and got no call, and finally got through today to a very rude receptionist to be told a doctor will call you today and guess what no one has called, You still can't get a doctors appointment until you have had a phone call off doctor, (why is this, seems like another waste of resource by the NHS) I honestly think they are just dossing in the office. I really don't know where to go with this it looks like i will have to go to A & E and waste there time with something my GP should be doing. The whole system is in a mess.

    Tried contacting surgery by phone 1030 am.recoreded message said third in queue. still waiting 40 min later for response. Give up got friend to take me to afternoon surgery. Asked face to face for call-back. By the time you do get through no appointments. Fighting losing battle.

    I phoned late this afternoon to request a telephone consultation. Phone was answered fast. The receptionist,Lisa,was warm and friendly (as all the receptionists are whether face to face or over the phone) and I spoke to my Dr within the hour. The receptionists are always helpful and often go out of their way to assist to be able to make your experience at the surgery run as smoothly and stressfree as they possibly can. I rarely ring for an appointment but when I have previously my requests have always been met.
