   Had blood test this morning. Nurse was 20 mins late. No apology. Gave name to nurse. She did not respond in any way. Actual process of blood taking painless and competent. Had to ask what test was for. When I expressed surprise at calcium there was no response. Was not informed when and how I would have results. Would say it was a very transactional meeting and nurse was not in the least interested in me or making the experience easier. She was lucky it was me. My husband said he would have walked out. Not trying to be difficult just saying it as I felt. Would evaluate meeting as 90% for blood test but 30% for interaction quality. Hope this is helpful. Regards, Ruth Baker
