    Thank you very much for seeing me today for my planned Asthma review and also at the same time checking me again for a chest infection that I had already been to see the doctor about last week. Both the nurse and the doctor could not of been more helpful and the reception staff and onsite pharmacy who arranged and made up my prescription to keep me going and back to work !! Could not thank you all enough for all your efforts, we are very lucky to have such a great team in Alveley. Gold stars all around !!

    My teenage son had a painful lump on his chest. He had to wait almost 5 weeks for an appointment with a dr. It’s almost impossible to get an appointment face to face with a GP. The reception staff are rude.

    Thank you for your comment. AMP is very sorry to learn of your son’s experience. Obviously sometimes patients do have to wait for an appointment to see a specific GP but, 5 weeks to see any doctor is out of the ordinary for our Practice. If you would like to you are welcome to contact the surgery directly and discuss your concerns further and in more detail with the Practice Manager who will listen to the specific details of what you experienced. The Practice Manager can drill down to the exact date/time of your experience to see if there was anything untoward which may explain this. The GP Patient Survey is a good indicator of patient satisfaction with the service we provide. AMP is consistently above the local and national patient satisfaction rate for ease of getting through to the practice by phone, appointment availability and customer service. We are proud of this. Alveley Medical Practice works hard to maintain a good standard of service and we take customer service very seriously. The reception staff are often the first person our patients see or speak to. It is never their intention to be anything other than friendly, welcoming and understanding.
