Really impressed with the service I received for my daughter. My call was answered promptly, the receptionist was very helpful and arranged a callback for a telephone consultation. This happened within an hour, the consultation was also well managed and a prescription was ready for collection from my local pharmacy shortly afterwards. Really good use of remote consultation facilities and the service exceeded my expectations.

I sent an econsult asking for help today and within 2 hours had a phone call from a wonderful compassionate GP to help me. I infrequently attend the practice but the two consultations I have had have been quick, efficient and from great GPs. Thank you.

Recently had need of aldermoor surgery for both myself and my high functioning autistic son. My son does not react the same as everyone else when he is ill and it’s very difficult to see what is going on. The assessing nurse practitioner called the situation and got him into hospital quickly, which ultimately saved his life. I was then seen a week or so after in a similar situation, but with a different issue and was met by the same nurse practitioner who assessed the situation really quickly and got me the treatment I needed. Back in the summer I obtained some insect bites. On the advice of the pharmacist I sent a quick photograph on the a consult . Within 10 minutes, a GP had phoned back and ordered further tests which showed a condition which had it been left, could have made me very ill indeed. The GP arranged quick treatment and further testing in the future to make sure everything is going in the right direction. The decisions made were quick and communication was excellent. I have to say on all these different occasions this practice has come through for both myself and my son really quickly and made some sensible decisions. Very often, the GPs are working in the dark over the telephone and it’s only through careful questioning and obtaining different information that they make a decision. A lot of it must be based on kind of intuition because they can only go on what you say. I have been reassured this past couple of months that things are not being left to slide, but they are working diligently behind-the-scenes to make sure that things are being followed up on so thank you.

I rarely need appointments fortunately but when I do, the reception staff are always helpful and try to get me an appointment that fits with my days off from work. I'm pleased you can now book appointments in advance to which helps when you just need a routine appointment. I rarely see the same Doctor but they are all very professional and helpful and take my concerns seriously. The practice nurses are lovely too on the rare occasions I have seen them. I definitely recommend this surgery.
