    Each appointment or review is with a different person. There is **no** continuity of care. As a healthcare professional specialising in quality and outcomes I find this very worrying

    Dear Patient, Unfortunately we were unable to contact you directly as the review was anonymous but should you wish to discuss this with us we would encourage you to reach out to us directly either via telephone, 020 8630 3838, or email, HOUCCG.albany@NHS.net When you are booking an appointment if there is a specific GP or clinician that you wish to book with you are always welcome to mention this when speaking to the receptionist and they will always accommodate where possible. Sometimes if you are calling for a same day appointment we cannot always guarantee that your preferred GP or clinician will be available on that day as not all of the clinicians all work on the same, every day of the week. However we will want to ensure that your urgent appointment request is met therefore we arrange this with the clinician or GP that is available on the day. If you are calling for a routine appointment with one of the clinicians or GPs the team will always offer the next available appointment with any GP or clinician. As we have mentioned please do reach out to us should you wish to discuss this matter in more detail, we would be happy to speak to you.     I have been receiving treatment for an eye condition at Moorfields Eye hospital since Aug 2021, which was when the surgery checked me for high blood pressure cholesterol & diabetes which can the cause of my eye condition. I emailed the surgery about getting these checked again and within 11 days the test were authorised, blood taken an analysised and I have the results. Very pleased

    Excellent service, felt comfortable and relaxed during appointments. Doctors and nurses listen to our health problems and give good advice, they take action immediately and respond well if further action needs to be taken

    It was confusing as to whether this was telephone or in person - usually timed are in person and tephone are much vaguer (usually am/pm The interview was fine There were some difficulties communicating simple requests to reception.

It is correct that face to face appointments are always given a specific time to attend the practice however telephone appointments are booked between certain times, usually AM - 09:00 - 13:00 or PM - 14:00 - 18:30 depending on the clinic that you have been booked into.     I was extremely pleased and relieved when my most recent call for an appointment was no. 1 in the queue, answered promptly and made for within two hours. I arrived, registered and was seen immediately. I cannot remember the last time this happened. Very pleased with the consultation and the follow up action. Thank you.

    I needed a vaccination at short notice after injuring myself. On phoning I was offered an appointment the next day. At the appointment my wound dressing was changed also, and I was given a spare dressing, as well as getting the vaccination, and helpful advice. This very helpful prompt action got me through a very stressful situation.

    My husband and I have been patients at the Albany Practice for many years and have recently noticed a marked improvement in accessing the surgery. Telephone calls are answered swiftly and an appointment with a GP can be made within a two week period. Receptionist staff are courteous and helpful and the nurses pleasant and friendly. Our GP, Dr Rahman, is caring and patient with a calm and reassuring manner. Overall we have no complaints and great peace of mind that the Albany Practice us within our easy reach.

    After having bloods done in November 2022, not having a follow up until Jan 2023, to then have to hwve another blood test to then have to wait a further 2 weeks for a follow up woth my gp.. icant blame the surgery as such as only heaving 1 surgery for so many people doesn't help. I think they need to look at follow up calls in a different way

    I'm fairly new to the practice and I have to say that this practice must be the worst I've ever experienced in all my 47 years on this planet. Pretty much received rubbish service every time I've had any contact with this place - face to face aswell as via telephone. The reception staff are rude and simply don't care about good customer service, not sure if it's the same person I seem to get stuck with every time I've called, one of the young girls is ok. The Dr I saw seemed fine, however, after my check up there has been zero follow up despite what he told me it could be. I don't feel these people should be employed by the nhs, clearly they don't have the right attitude. Also I had full blood count done and the health care assistant first off informed me the entire borough does not have the small injections so I have to have a big one and it might hurt, obviously this scared me immediately and then to my horror I had a bruise the size of my entire forearm which was not only painful but black and purple lasting about 1 month. Awful experience.

    Dear Patient, We are extremely sorry to hear that you have had a negative experience with the practice. This is most definitely not how we want our patients to be feeling at all. Regarding your comments of the small needles, there is currently a national shortage of these smaller needles for blood tests which has been ongoing for some time and unfortunately we have not been provided with an update as to when this situation is going to be resolved, so unfortunately this particular matter is out of our control but we do apologise.
