Many GP surgeries have faced criticism due to poor administration, difficulty in getting appointments etc, and general poor service. I am aware that Adam House has had its fair share of criticism. I would like to express my feelings following recent consultations at Adam House and say a big thank you to the whole team there. The new telephony system with the offer of callback has been rapid, effective and efficient. The maximum I waited to get through was a few minutes, and the callback is brilliant. When I was called back (usually no more than 5 minutes), Admin staff were helpful, pleasant and professional. The Consultations I had were thorough, empathetic and gave me full confidence. Thank you again - brilliant!

Amazing how quick I got an appointment to see a dr, I called at 8.00 and seen by 12.00 that day , from the receptionist to the dr and nurse where all very helpful. Thank you

Terrible excuse for a doctors practice! Calling for an appointment typically takes over an hour of waiting, then to be told there is none available for weeks! No empathy or understanding from receptionists - sadly very condescending too. They really would benefit from updating their information to include how to book appointments and how to speak with patients. Will be looking to transfer to a different practice now as this one has become a joke!

Dear Rachel, Thank you for your feedback, The surgery would like to apologise for your recent experience. We are currently looking into our phone line system to help with the wait times. Regarding booking appointments the surgery has limited appointments available to pre-book. However, the majority of the appointments are to be booked on the same day at 8am. First, whenever I call them, for any reason and at any time of the day, they say there are no appointments available. I called them yesterday afternoon to make an appointment and they said I must call in the morning, before 10am, to make the appointment. Then I called them at 8:10 and they said all booked!!! This is not the first time, it almost happens all the time, and getting an appointment there is something nearly impossible. The service is too bad and they are not doing anything to the community.

Dear patient, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear you are struggling to book an appointment at the surgery. Unfortunately all appointments are released on the same day at 8am. All patients are required to book appointments at 8am. There are some pre bookable appointments available at the surgery however these get booked very quickly. I got told that the text message I received for my appointment was wrong. It stated 10h45, they said 12h00. I waited 40mins, they said I'd be the next patient, but then send another two people before me. I walked out and will never return.
