  1. Review titled No emergency care

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I had a tooth out last year and now have a problem with the tooth next to the gap. A piece of bone has come through the gum and must be upsetting the root of the remaining tooth. I couldn’t get in to see my dentist as she didn’t work Tuesdays so I asked to see another in the practice, they said I couldn’t. They told me to ring back the next day, which I did, to be told she was on holiday and I needed to ring the next day to try for an appointment. I rang 111 to see if I could get an emergency dentist, they told me my practice must give me emergency care during the week. I rang them back and they agreed to give me a ‘sit and wait’ appointment the next day which I accepted. I was given antibiotics and because I can’t tolerate the small X-ray films in my mouth I needed a facial X-ray that was booked for the next week but their x-ray machine was broken, they’d ring when it was fixed. So, a week later, antibiotics are finished, still in pain and no further forward so I’ll have to start the process again.

ringing the reception today 20.9.24 was very unpleasant , the ladies are short and easily annoyed , details on system do not match paperwork so they get arsey with you when you tell them the paperwork is different to their screens , not pleasant experience and i think they couldnt care less about anyone the NHS , just wanting the pleasantries for private patients

  3. Review titled delayed NHS appointments in time of need

Rated 4 stars out of 5

broken front tooth , had to wait about 4 weeks to get seen and then told need to come back for proper filling, temp one put in , why they cant do a filling correctly at the time as they know ones needs doing , just a ploy to get more money out of you as then its two appointments and two charges , other than that they are a good dentist but the NHS service is second rate , private patients take preference

  5. Review titled My experience

Having just had a wisdom tooth removed, I am happy to say the experience was good. I obviously felt a little nervous, but I felt no pain or discomfort and clear instructions for after care were given.

I arrived for my 10am appointment 5 minutes early. I waited until 10.25 and was not called in. I had a telephone appointment with my MS nurse at 10.30 which I felt would take place as my 10am dental appointment would be finished in plenty of time. I had no caption after speaking to reception staff other than to leave at 10.27
