Super friendly and efficient receptionist J on a Thursday afternoon, very welcoming and nothing was too much bother! Super dentist, gentle and respectful…discussed treatment, gave me options, not pushy at all - I nearly fell asleep during my filling!

The practice is going fully private from September the 1st. When I received a letter explaining this I felt compelled to compare their proposed mydentist plan to other private services. At this stage I received a further letter cancelling my appointment due last week on the August the 7th. I was not offered a private alternative nor a further appointment. I feel sure there are options for transitioning from NHS to Private practice that remains considerate & respectful to patients. For this reason I have made alternative arrangements for my dental care. This is a shame as I was happy with the service I had hitherto had at Fareham.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry for any inconvenience caused in relation to your treating dentist no longer providing NHS treatment. Your dentist has taken the decision to no longer offer dental services on the NHS. Where routine NHS provision is not currently available, your practice will be able to offer alternative private options. We have been using this dentist for a number of years now The annual check up was carried out without fuss or someone trying to upsell services which we have experienced with other dentists ! We left confident in the experience and advice given Very happy with the service and staff

Last last time years ago when I saw a hygienist it was not a good experience very painful and hygienist quite brutal. I realised I desperately needed to see the hygienist and was very nervous about it. Well I needn’t have been the hygienist for very nice and continually asked me if I was ok. She took her time and I was just so pleased with the end result. So I won’t have any worries about seeing her again.

My nhs dentist left the practice and I was told I would be contacted once a new dentist was employed, I contacted the practice in April 2022 November 2022 January and February 2023 to be informed there is a new dentist from abroad but as the nhs are slow in allowing them to take on nhs patients I can be seen as a private patient. My question is how long does it take the nhs to allow a qualified dentist to see nhs patients if they already have a private practice

I have always found mydentist in West Street to be very friendly and reliable. I feel like I am in safe hands with the dentists and nurses who always check my teeth thoroughly. I feel lucky to have found such a decent dental practice.

As an NHS patient I recently visited the practice with toothache. Very impressed with the speed I was seen, the professionalism and empathy of the doctor, who explained the treatment received and why. The efficiency and courtesy shown by the reception team was second to none. Highly recommend this practice.

Dentist is excellent, thorough and complimentary of well looked after teeth. It is simple to make an appointment and they always put myself and my son at ease before our treatment

Called up in the morning as my wisdom tooth is infected again. This practice referred me to have it surgically removed over 18 months ago I still have no appointment for that. I was told on the phone that there were no dentists at the practice today so they would find me an appointment at one of there other practices and call me back. No one called it's progressed now and became more painful, this isn't the first time I've been let down by them. From the way I'm spoken to at times to just being neglected
