Patient parking is at the end of the property and is a muddy, dirty, wet track to walk to and from the surgery. When returning to cars the mud on footwear is transferred into the car which is not good. Receptionist, dental assistant and dentist were all excellent but I was surprised by the cost of the checkup which took approximately 6 minutes. We always used to have a scrape and polish by the dentist but guess that doesn’t happen anymore.

The experience as a whole was only fair really. The receptionist asked me to fill forms out on the tablet which I started to but half way through the tablet died. My appointment ran over 20 minutes late. The dentist I saw was lovely & advised me it the treatment I required. On booking the follow up appointment for a fairly big problem i have to wait 5 weeks for the earliest time !

Polite reception staff when booking in. The dentist was excellent and explained my treatment and also preventative measures for future.

I don’t know why the feedback about the receptionist is so negative when they only really going off the availability of the dentist’s it’s not their fault at all. However, the practice is very understaff with dentists. They conduct an examination state what the problem is and even after telling them how severe the pain is they then advise the next available appointment is in 3 months time it’s inexcusable. I had to contact 111 even they advised they have a duty of care to see patients with severe toothache it’s appalling. I had to contact another dentist and they advised they could get me in the following week or if privately the next day. I’ll definitely be changing my dentist.

I had to wait 20 minutes to be seen but didn’t feel like my teeth were fully examined I was barely in there 5 minutes. Couldn’t get an apt with hygienist until Christmas week which isn’t convenient! If your dentists are recommending these services you should be able to get an appointment within a reasonable time period which cater for working people!

Friendly staff but the waiting time is long. Appointment was 12pm but didn't get to see dentist till 12.30pm. Not good when I need to get back to work.

I have been with Sheldon Dental Care for about 3 years, having to change from a practice with which I was perfectly happy but who were going private only. I did not realise how poor this practice had been until I joined Sheldon Dental Care. I have found them very easy to contact, always polite and professional and, on the couple of occasions I needed urgent treatment, they have always obliged.
