   Firstly, I would like to state that the receptionist and the nurses here are lovely. The dentist treated me like a burden from a start. I explained I have been struggling to afford the crown I needed fitting and my work hasn’t been giving me time off. Dentist goes to speak to another dentist, comes back and tells me that ‘if I cancel again, I won’t be seen here’ I have cancelled because I can’t afford the dentist due to other things coming up. I gave a months notice each time (twice). I explained to the dentist that £300 is a lot of money. The response I got was ‘you’re not my patient’. I have attended this dentist my whole life. I was shocked at how I was spoken to as an NHS patient. I felt like a number and not a person
