Excellent dentist, highly skilled and helpful. The appointment helped me to diagnose a recent issue which wasn’t easy to ascertain.

Yesterday (Sunday) I phoned NHS 111 about my aching, broken teeth and I was referred to this practice. They gave me an appointment immediately for the next day. I was seen promptly despite large numbers of patients (a good sign). I was prescribed antibiotics and mouthwash: a better outcome than extractions.

The dentist and dental assistant were warm friendly and professional they made me feel at.ease as soon as i walked through the door. .Again the reception staff were welcoming and friendly.

The receptionists seemed very disinterested in checking me in when I arrived (I felt like I was interrupting their day). My appointment was at 3pm, however, the dentist was running 25 minutes late. It would be good to know that they were delayed seeing me (I know that isn’t always possible). My dentist hadn’t looked at my case history before my arrival. They didn’t know my medical history or if X-rays had been completed (they had to ask). My appointment lasted probably only 10 minutes. I keep my teeth fairly healthy, so a short appointment is to be expected, however, I don’t feel this is great value. The dentist also suggested teeth whitening. I wouldn’t have minded the upsell, however, it seems every time I go to the dentist I’m being sold something I don’t really need. The dentist was professional and had a nice manner, however, I feel that this practise has degraded in the past 5 years, with too great a focus on money over care. The question below illustrates my point. Always trying to sell.

Was seen as an emergency appointment and received advice/treatment within 30 minutes of arrival. Friendly and efficient.

The waiting time was 1hr and 15 mins but when i got to the dentist she was very professional gave me all the options very patient with me as i was in so much pain and i am a nervous patient until i had my jab so all was very good x

Waiting time was bit too much otherwise OK. The staff should show some smile on their face. Not proper signs to go downstairs.Anyhow thank u .Treatment in hospital is free and I came through the hospital,why should I be charged £25.80.
