  1. Review titled 5 days and still No Appointment

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 18 January 2023

I have rung everyday for 5 days, and still I have not been given an appointment. I can't eat, I can't speak properly, I can't sleep and I need dental treatment and yet I just get put on a list to no avail. I am an unregistered NHS patient because I cannot find a dentist, and like a lot of people I cannot afford private treatment. This is a service that just is not acceptable.

  2. Review titled Amazing Practice with a Great Team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Been suffering with dental problems for around a month now and was told to ring Seven Trees as I have not registered at a dental clinic since moving to Plymouth. Had huge difficulty trying to find a NHS funded clinic to register with. I rang the clinic and spoke with a very helpful staff memeber and was told I might get a call the same day or if no call was received then I'd have to call back again the next day. Within a few hours, I had a phone call with the offer of an appointment due to a cancellation, person on the phone was very helpful. Luckily it worked for me so I was booked in. Visited the clinic and the reception staff were polite and friendly. Was quick to be seen and the dentist and assistant was amazing in every way possible. Figure out my issues and fixed the problem quickly and effectively. Very gentle and reassuring. They gave me after care advice as well. I honestly cannot thank you all enough, as I am now pain free and looking forward to enjoying my pain free Christmas.

  3. Review titled Didn’t get seen and was in pain for 3 days

Rated 1 star out of 5

I need a filling and I rang up explaining I’m pregnant and it’s causing me pain and sleepless nights. Was told to keep ringing each day but was never got a call back from them. Considering now I’m 16 weeks pregnant and still having the same issue with my tooth where the pain is so severe that my face is all puffy and swollen I still not getting a call back. I’ve been to a private dentist and I’m not paying the price when I know I can get it free if I had an nhs dentist as I’m pregnant.

  4. Review titled Awesome dentistry

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I was able to get an appt within 36 hours of ringing. My molar was infected. The young male dentist was absolutely brilliant. I was more anxious than normal, he constantly put me at ease, made sure I was completely numb before extracting my molar. He came across a complication with my molar's roots having an extra bit that needed to be removed. He xrayed it again, then topped up my anaesthetic, before carrying on. I was in the chair an hour, car longer than I've ever been, qnd yet, probably the best dentist experience I've had. His female assistant was awesome too. And my healing has happened brilliant, with excellent after care from them. I am so impressed, and I'm in my late forties, so have had quite a bit of experience.

  5. Review titled Don't answer or respond

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had to call on friday 5th july as my son has no dentist and although an adult could hardly speak because of pain. Finally got through after 35 mins and was told would be 'triaged' and would get call back later that day and if don't to try again next open morning. Of course no call back and my son has been left in severe pain all over the weekend. I am supposed to go through the 35min ritual on the phone again this morning for nobody to call me back again I presume. This is a shambles regardless of how hard they say they're working. Leaving people in pain is unnacceptable and if you get through and speak to a receptionist they should have the decency to contact you back and not just throw your call in the bin.

  9. Review titled Horrible experience

Impossible to book an appointment. Been trying to book an appointment by phones for a month with no luck. Tried to pop in when the toothache got extreme, didn't even let me in. So how comes this is an emergency dentist then, if I can't get help on emergency. Now basically haven't slept 4 nights in a row and I'm a single father of 3 kids.. may try my luck in a local garage, maybe someone there would be able to knock my tooth out...

  10. Review titled Unhelpful and rude

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Kay - Posted on 03 July 2022

Very abrupt and rude receptionist. She would not listen fully to my query, but assumed she knew what I was asking. Instead of listening she talked over the top of me in a rising condescending tone. After being referred by 111 as I cannot afford the urgent treatment I need privately, I was informed that I was not entitled to care at this dentist as I am registered privately elsewhere. I was trying to ask her advice as to alternative care paths as I was in a lot of pain and it seemed I had no way of getting treatment, but she refused to hear my query. I accept the practice rules are what they are, and that she may not of had an answer for me, but it costs nothing to listen to the whole question first and be polite, especially when talking to someone who is clearly in pain and upset.
