From being examined and referred by my Community Optician on 16 May, until the removal of my first cataract and lense replacement on 1 June, has been an amazing journey of kindness, information and professionalism. Thank you all so much.

Spa medica phoned me on Monday, had my appointment Tuesday, Came back on Friday of the same week and had my cataract removed. Very impressed with the excellent service and treatment.

Very kind helpful and reassuring. Nothing was to much trouble ,from reception nurses and surgeons.Explained to everything to me and took my fears away. I would most certainly recommend SpaMedica .They were outstanding.Thank You All

The process is well set up. The staff are well trained and work together very well. The stages to the cataract operation are well defined and this makes it an easy journey as a patient. The operation itself is absolutely pain free and quick, between 10 and 20 minutes only.

I had two cataracts removed. Both operations went without a hitch. Moreover, I was seen promptly - had the second operation three days after applying for it. The local NHS hospital had a twenty-eight week waiting list when I was referred. SpaMedica completed everything within two months of my doctor referring me to them.

Excellent service from arrival to departure. Staff friendly but professional. Prompt appointment having seen optician. Had second cataract removed.

Now the day after my first cataract op and feeling fine. Superb service from start to finish. Just under One Month since my eye test and diagnosis at Asda Ferring and now ''recovering'' A painless procedure taking around 10 minutes with not one single adverse feeling. Thank you for looking after me--now for the other eye! Lovely caring staff-one always has concerns about anything to do with The Eyes but no one need worry after my experience--looking forward to seeing the lovely staff again in a few weeks. Mike W

What service and treatment. On 7th June at opticians I discovered I had cateracts, 26th pre op and.... by 29th the first one was removed. The staff were all lovely, attentive and caring. My only slight problem was find the place on our first appt. Who knew that Stoneham Lane went round in a horseshoe! We wasted over half an hour going up and down asking peeps the way. We arrived on time, but a map on the back of the information pack would have been helpful. Now looking forward to my 2nd eye being done

Kind and efficient staff. Very impressed! I’ve visited twice for cataract operations and both times had excellent care. I would recommend the Southampton centre to anyone needing this operation.

Very quick service - less than 3 weeks between optician's referral to procedure, with assessment in between. More important a very smooth and efficient process, without feeling rushed. Brilliant surgeon who in my case was also able to reverse severe myopia and halve the astigmatism. No post op issues and I'm looking forward to having the second eye sorted out inafew weeks.
