I was really nervous but was really put at ease by all the lovely staff. They are so nice and my operation was fantastic I didn't feel any pain, the surgeon was very calming, and made me feel really at ease. Did not take long, I would recommend this clinic to anybody who is feeling nervous, all staff are lovely, thank you

Appointment was 10 30,went in at 10 30 ,was out by 12 30 . Faultless procedure from beginning to end. Staff attentive at all times. Pain free operation.

Staff were friendly and very efficient, all areas extremely clean and the procedures where clearly explained. During the actual procedure I was made to feel comfortable and safe, it was painless and fast. The after care was explained thoroughly and I was looked after right through to leaving.

This was my second cataract operation and it was just as good as the first one. Lovely helpful people who put you completely at ease. Nothing too much trouble. The operation itself was over in no time, so quick.

Cannot fault Spa Medica Liverpool, very happy with the surgery and the staff who are efficient and caring. So glad I had the cataract surgery done and the referral was very fast.

So....I have attended for my pre op and my first cataract extraction with lens implant. Everything and everyone has been absolutely amazing from start to finish can't thank you all enough.

SpaMedica Liverpool offers a fantastic service. After being referred for cataract surgery by my optician I received a phone call three days later and booked a pre-op assessment for the following week. At my appointment the whole team were very welcoming, friendly and very helpful and they described the procedure clearly. I was given eye drops to prepare for surgery and a nice booklet explaining other questions I might have. Amazingly when I went to book my surgery date after the assessment they had a cancellation for the next day. As this was my second cataract operation I was ready for surgery straight away and the procedure went very smoothly. The before and after care was much better than for my previous cataract removal (a large London hospital) and I was given contact numbers in case of emergency and steroid drops to take for a month, they even booked a follow up appointment for me with my optician. A bit of grittiness remained in my eye until the next day and I used sunglasses for a while to readjust to the light but I could see perfectly again. All I had to do was use baby shampoo for a while. I cannot recommend SpaMedica Liverpool highly enough if your surgery is straight forward like mine, all the team at the clinic are brilliant. I would only wait for a hospital appointent if you have possible complications with your surgery. All in all it took nine days from my initial referral to the successful completion of surgery, I'm blown away!

Fantastic service, brilliant facilities, spotlessly clean, very helpful staff. I would highly recommend the service, made me feel at ease checked my details on several occasions, brilliant aftercare instructions

When my optometrist referred me to SpaMedica I didn't know what to expect – but I must say I'm delighted. Less than four weeks from referral to first appointment. The clinic / hospital is very clean and well organised. Both at the pre-op appointment and at both procedures the staff explained what was happening and helped me along the way. The operations themselves were quick and more or less painless – just a little stinging as the anaesthetic drops etc are administered. At the start of the procedure the surgeon told me to move my eye by following his tracking light. It's similar to the optometrist's eye test procedure – and that's the hardest part of the whole process! My score: 11 out of 10.

I had my 2nd eye operated on the 24/4/24. On both occasions the staff from the porters, reception, nursing staff and both surgeons were fantastic from getting welcomed with a smile and a cup of tea. Also each stage of the process was explained to me in detail which made me feel very relaxed. Thankyou Spa Medica Liverpool.
