I recently had surgery to remove cataract from my left eye at SpaMedica Coventry. The staff were all extremely kind and helpful and I have nothing but praise and respect for them all. I am looking forward to having my other eye surgery later this month.

I have just had a cataract operation at this practice and everyone that I saw was extremely helpful and explained everything very clearly to me. I felt welcomed by the admin staff and during all of my pre op scans and tests the staff were very clear in explaining the procedures they were completing and the process flowed from one section to the next until my pre op tests were completed and I was told I was suitable for surgery at their practice. As I was going away for a few days I wasn't able to book my operation whilst I was there as their appointments didn't quite go long enough but they noted down when I would be returning and said they would ring me with a date for my operation. They rang the following day and my appointment was booked for the day after my return. My experience on the day of my op was of total professionalism from my arrival to completion. Every stage was explained clearly and the after care information was excellent. I would certainly recommend this practice to anyone needing a cataract operation and I know I will need to have my other eye doing in the future but I know I will be in good hands.

This hospital provides a wonderful, efficient and quick service. The surgeon who treated me was a true professional. I would recommend it to anyone with cataract problems.

I have now had cataracts removed from both eyes at Spa Medica. The results are exceptionally good and the whole experience was very positive. They took a lot of care at every stage, from making the appointment, to ensuring I was comfortable at every stage inside the clinic. I was taken from place to place as required, my details were checked repeatedly, each treatment professional gave his/her name, I was given full explanations of what was happening, so there were no surprises. Even during the operations, the surgeons gave brief progress reports and reassurance that things were going well. I had full aftercare details and medication. My optician remarked how well the work had been done. I am delighted to have my full sight back.

I had my first eye done in February and the surgeon was very gentle and very pleasant and my eye was brilliant. I returned yesterday for second eye and found this surgeon to hardly speak and to be very rough, most unpleasant experience, quite a lot of pain in this eye and very blood shot. If this had been my first eye to be done I would not have returned ro have the second one done.

My husband had his cataract done. Excellent. Staff very friendly and helpful. Building is modern, clean and welcoming. Tea, coffee etc available. Overall the best clinic - hospital we have been to. I would highly recommend Spa Medica Coventry. Thank you all

Thank you for treating me with my 2nd cateract surgery with you. I found again all the staff were very kind. Everything was explained so well. The greeter was especially good with a good sense of humour. I thought it was a very nice touch to provide coffee and biscuits. The drinks machine was excellent. Also the bag provided with everything you need for recovery was excellent. The information booklet gives you step by step instructions.

I was so scared to have cataract surgery and everyone could see this and did everything they could to reassure me, i was so grateful and now realise they were all right when they said i would be absolutely fine!! Can't wait to get my next eye done, thank you all.
