I am very pleased with the service provided by Spa Medica Bexhill. After being referred by my opticians in March I could have had the procedure done the next month but for personal reasons I delayed a few weeks- Very quick service- ! The staff at Bexhill were friendly, professional and helpful and I am delighted with the results- One bit of feedback for you was that when I asked how long I would be off work I was told 4 weeks which concerned me as I cannot take time off like that. I felt the nurse should have asked me what type of work I do- As I am desk based then most people are back at work straight away, and in fact I was able to work the same day as the op. I do understand that with manual jobs then it may be longer until you can go back to work- this is only a minor criticism but I think important to be getting people working soonest rather than encouraging them to take time off ! All in all first class service, excellent choice by the NHS to fulfil cataract ops using Spa Medica and really good service from Spa Medica themselves

My appointment came through a week after my referral. Both the pre-op assessment and the surgery itself were painless and efficient, despite my nerves. The staff were very good, friendly and above all proficient in their roles. I was in and out in less than an hour on the day of the surgery and am really pleased with the outcome. Huge thanks to all the staff for making the day as painless as possible!

Opticians appointment led to referral within week. First appointment within 1 week and op 2 weeks later. Surgeon was brilliant and the staff kind and caring. Building very clean. Biscuits & puzzles while you wait. All together a fantastic service. Op did not hurt and was over in 10 minutes. No after pain either. Felt a bit wierd for a while but soon adjust.

I was warmly welcomed, the nurses were extremely kind and the surgeon was excellent making me as comfortable as possible and giving me confidence.

Staff friendly & efficient. Outcome of cataract removal was perfect…I hadn’t realised how much sight loss I had. It’s a new world!

Outstanding experience from start to finish. Fantastic staff, speedy and comprehensive communication, pre-assessment plus operation process extremely quick, efficient and professional. System for processing clients very well thought out and planned, works like clockwork!, no waiting around, kept informed at every step of the way. In and out within 2 hours on pre-assessment day, and 1 hour on day of operation. Couldn't fault this experience in any way whatsoever - thank you so so much to all involved.

Very impressed with both staff and Dr’s. Caring, professional, approachable and friendly. Clean and smart environment. Coffee and biscuits were a pleasant extra making one feel completely at ease. Thank you SpaMedica!

I was really impressed at the professional attention given to patients I was really worried about the cataract removal operation but it was so much better than I thought it would be. The nurses and doctor were very kind and helpful. Cant wait to have my second eye done.

Everyone is professional and efficient and very kind. Everything was explained and checked and rechecked. It was exceptionally clean . You are offered refreshments . I was very nervous but the cataract removal was quickly over and l felt relaxed because it was so calm in the surgery. I will highly recommend SpaMedica to anyone needing a cataract removal.
