  1. Review titled Great Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Malcolm Swann - Posted on 19 April 2025

Although the waiting tome to see a Nurse Practitioner was over 3 hrs, the staff kept everyone updated as to how they were progressing through the waiting list. They were also having to deal with ambulance patients. It was my wife who was seen by a nurse Practitioner. My wife was extremely grateful for the attention she received and how thorough they were with her. The demands on the staff at this facility was apparent, but they continue in a professional manner which is indicative of NHS staff. Keep up the good work.

  2. Review titled Exceptional service from the team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Andrew Clarke - Posted on 26 April 2025

My wife attended with a head injury yesterday evening which was immediately given priority and extremely close attention. Whilst the practice had her transferred by ambulance to Aintree University Hospital, the quality of diagnosis and treatment she received from Litherland Walk-In Centre was better than anything we could have expected. After several hours having scans & tests in A&E, she was eventually allowed to return home. The detailed examinations and tests carried out by Litherland Walk-In Centre in the early stages were so important to what seems to be a positive outcome. Thank you for all you were able to do

  4. Review titled Amazing staff

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by lucy - Posted on 29 June 2024

Went in today, as I had infected piercings. The lady on triage was so happy and everyone who came out of the room, me and my mum included came out with smiles on our faces. The two male nurses I saw, one to asses the other to prescribe were so lovely and kind. You could tell they were run off their feet but still gave an incredible standard of care. Thank you!

  5. Review titled Brilliant Dental Service

Rated 5 stars out of 5

    by David E - Posted on 17 June 2024

I was booked in by 111 on Sunday afternoon on16th June 24 in severe dental pain. The lady Dental Surgeon who attended me was absolutely brilliant and reassured me at every stage of the procedure to remove one of my wisdom teeth. I would not hesitate in recommending Litherland Town hall for emergency dental treatment.

  6. Review titled Disgraceful

by Jacqueline jones - Posted on 14 May 2024

My 90 year old mother presented at 11.30 this morning with breathlessness and wheezing no doctors appointments we are still sitting here at 17.25 the place is nearly empty now . I have asked how the triage system works and have been told that people present with life threatening symptoms and are seen first . No one I have spoken to who has been seen earlier have had life threatening symptoms . What on earth is happening to our NHS ?? Do not come here unless u are prepared to wait over 5 and half hours to b seen

I attended here tonight at about 5pm with an injury to my toes, just like to say thanks the male nurse who I seen last he is really good he put tape round my foot and toe to keep it straight away from the others. It feels much better with it on.

  10. Review titled Impatient rude staff member

Rated 3 stars out of 5

    by D. Davies - Posted on 19 February 2024

Reception staff - friendly and efficient. Doorman - helpful, friendly. Medical staff member was rude and unfriendly. He rolled his eyes and tutted when I did not hear what he said. (I had already explained to him that I was partially hearing.) He made an excuse when I politely challenged him, however he did it again! I’ve no idea why he was impatient as the particular department he works in was empty except for me. This happened around lunch time, perhaps he hadn’t eaten. Nevertheless, it was an unsettling situation. Being a retired NHS staff member I do understand the importance of a kind attitude toward patients and patience with those with a disability. This is actually the first review I’ve ever written but in this case I feel it needed to be as hopefully it will contribute to nothing similar happening again. Treat other people as you would like to be treated yourself.
