  1. Review titled Astonishing!

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Prof. Paul Williams - Posted on 16 April 2024

Astonishing! These guys must surely be able to change water into wine. Or, in my case, bring someone back in a couple of weeks from a very dramatic head to toe dark purple rash to relative normality. Absolute geniuses - and I should add - everyone I met was utterly delightful and impressed too with their knowledge, skill and professionalism. Highly recommended.

The treatment, attention, understanding & empathy towards my son’s emergency appointment & issues by all especially the Doctor who we mainly dealt with on that day was out standing. We appreciate & acknowledgement the pressure you consistently endure. Thank you so much. 🙏

Visited as I had a head wound as the result of a fall. The treatment I received was wonderful. From arrival to departure I could not fault any of the staff or the treatments I received. Everyone was so cheerful and happy to explain all that was going on. Thank you all so much - a 5*+ rating.

  5. Review titled I have had a dangerous long wait for a histology result

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by John - Posted on 21 April 2024

On 21st Feb I had a biopsy of two skin lesions that might be high grade malignant. Two months later I and my GP have had no result or advice. If it is high grade, the chance of successful treatment can be badly affected. Why the long wait? This level of delay is dangerous!

I would like to thank all the surgical team that performed my surgery in such a professional way. I was out in 7 days thanks to the nurses and staff that looked after me, and recovering well at home. Once again a big thanks to all.

  8. Review titled Good Experience

Rated 4 stars out of 5

by Linda - Posted on 27 January 2024

From calling out the ambulance and getting me out of the house whilst I was in immense pain, to A&E who dealt with me quickly and efficiently I have nothing but praise. Then there are the superb nurses on the ward who deal with so much but keep so cheerful. The surgeon and his team who did my hip replacement kept me informed and calm every step of the way. The aftercare of my operation has been wonderful. A great physio team offering lots of help and suggestions has got me home in record time. Thank you to each and everyone of you, each playing your part, each in my heart forever. xx

  10. Review titled Broken system, constantly given wrong information

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 13 December 2023

A&E is working with a completely broken system. Unable to leave with my test results to get treatment elsewhere is utterly hopeless. I was happy to reduce waiting times and go to Hengrove but was told all my waiting would then be for nothing. In the same city and NHS trust surely files can be shared to allow people to get the care they need. I had no option but to be in A&E but once the issue (broken bone) was established could have gone home and slept. Then gone to Hengrove for 8am. I was also constantly told different things by different staff members at the beginning so was unable to make the decision to leave at an earlier point. I.e. after triage.
