    Just done a 6 week diabetes course and it was amazing loved it I would be going back again to do it all again it was that amazing

    harwood medical centre is a credit to the community from being very ill and and in hospital for just over three weeks and back in the care of hmc i have nothing but praise thank you

    I suffer from white coat syndrome and consequently I hate the annual blood pressure checks. The HCA I saw today completely relaxed me and made me feel at ease with the procedure. Made the world of difference to me. Staff like this are worth their weight in gold.

    Attended for routine appointment. Practice Nurse went out of her way to undertake further tests that were due but no part of that particular appointment. Extremely grateful for extra time taken during a routine appointment to undertake extra tests. Brilliant service. Thank you.

    Usually I find it quite stressful booking appointments ref my health-but today I got the nicest lady who was totally ‘human’ & helpful & was not ‘stressie’ about dates/times etc-a real credit to your practice & the start of a few appointments that I have been putting off. Sometimes the ‘front-line’ can be off putting, so this starts off as a poor interaction. Maybe due to being a Monday morning I had a better experience-who knows. I work within the NHS & realise our challenges-but well done that lady.

    I was discharge from hospital following a major operation. Post operation there was a complication I was treated and given 2weeks of medication.On discharge from hospital I was told to contact my G P to discuss my problem and get more medication. The doctors staff refused to make me an appointment until 28th February leaving me without medication for 2 weeks. I am not sure how this will affect my wellbeing but I could always go to A & E and clogg up the already over stretched emergency services.

    I had an appointment today with a nurse who was an absolute credit to your GP Practice and to the profession. I am generally an anxious patient and my appointment was for an unpleasant test but she put me completely at ease. She was so friendly, understanding and talkative any anxiety I had went away. I also received an unexpected but much appreciated and overdue full MOT with blood test and BP check during the appointment and by the time it came to the test I was dreading I was already fully relaxed. Another positive experience at Harwood Health Centre. Thank you.

    Today I was trying to make a appointment for covid booster, I have just got over covid( 29/09 ) told to ring back when i was clear they would make me appointment 28 days later, the woman that answered said she could not do that, last week someone else could, when i told her this she did not want to know and said i,am terminate this call and put the phone down on me when i was still speaking. total ignorance.

    I have always had a very good experience with this practice but today was exceptional. I explained my situation to the lady who answered my call. She was kind, caring and took detailed notes to pass onto the doctor. I called back a short while later as requested and provided further information for the GP then I received a call informing me that my prescription has been sent to the chemist. Such a quick and efficient service but most of all I appreciate the kindness and understanding of the staff and them taking my concerns seriously. I’ve always had the best interactions with receptionists, admin team, nurses and GPs at this practice and cannot rate them highly enough.
