    I want to sincerely thank the entire team at Victoria Road Surgery, for their outstanding compassion, professionalism, and responsiveness during a challenging period for our family. In the midst of a distressing and unsafe hospital discharge, they were the first team in several weeks who took the time to listen, to care, and to act. Their swift acknowledgement of our concerns, clarity in communication, and personal follow-up have brought immense relief and reassurance at a time when we felt unheard and overwhelmed by systemic breakdowns elsewhere. It’s rare to feel truly supported in the current climate of stretched healthcare services, but this practice restored our faith in what primary care can and should be: joined-up, humane, and centred around patient well-being. Their actions have directly impacted safety and recovery, and we are deeply grateful. Thank you for leading by example.

    I have tried to make an appointment earlier in the month and rang on 4 different occasions. By 11am, the reception does not receive calls! I had a message to book a vaccine, but the link on the app says no appointments and gives surgery number, but you cannot get through! On the website the surgery is open to new patients but it is evident that it cannot cope with the existing patients. I would not recommend this surgery.

    Good afternoon Maria I'm so sorry to hear you that you had trouble getting through, we are expirenicng an incredibly busy time at the moment and this does mean sometimes we reach our maximum safe capacity. We are doing all we can to try and see and speak with as many patients as possible. I'm sorry to hear you could not book your vaccine, i will ask a member of the team to contact you today so we can look into this for you. Please be assured we are all working as hard as we can to make sure patients are looked after. I will get someone to call you, so we can review together. Thank You
