This is not the first time I have rung the surgery in relation. After an hour of messages, or the phone call cutting out it is an achievement to get through. In this case, although very slowly and deliberately explaining an issue to reception staff it has caused additional problems. Why isn’t there an email address for easy contact and then accurate information can be passed directly to GP with documented evidence. This would also reduce their workload from correcting mistakes. Review left here as not able to leave message about issue with surgery as no contact method other than a long phone wait.

  2. Review titled worrying error

I attended today for an ultrasound. The sonographer offered no guidance as to how far I should undress or any other pre-proceedure instruction. The person then began to scan the wrong part of my abdomen. This would have continued until I mentioned the area that I was expecting to be scanned. The practitioner then checked the computer, and confirmed that they had made a mistake. No apology was offered, and they were generally devoid of any 'bedside manner' throughout the appointment. This was surely nearly an expensive mistake for the nhs, and a waste of valuable appointment time, had I not questioned the proceedure. In addition my health was potentially placed in jeopardy.

  3. Review titled Do not understand how this survey is rated as good

I gave up even trying to see A GP at this surery. The process starts with standing in a queue outside which resembles the queue outside a job centre in the 1980s on signing on day You are then left sitting for two hours in a waiting room full of people coughing, which makes you feel really good. You then see a GP who has clearly lost any interest in trying to serve their ever increasing list of patients. I end up suggesting my own diagnosis and they agree that I'm just getting old! My Daughter asks for prescription to be sent to Manchester as she returns to Univercity. For the umpteenth time, the surgery fails to send it. My partner tries to speak to the surgery and spends a hour listening to a recorded message telling her how important her call is! Ultimately, not important enough for a yone to Nswer the phone. Cannot add anything g positive.

  4. Review titled Walk in session

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I saw the nurse today because of a pain in my back and sciatic pains in my legs. One and a half hours later I was seeing a physiotherapist. You can't get much better than that. The nurse is so thorough and cheerful. I would not change my surgery.

  5. Review titled A Breath of Fresh Air

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Wrote a review praising this surgery over a year ago. Since then both my husband & I have continued to received wonderful care. Not being able to make an appointment and having to queue in the morning is a minor irritation as at least you get to see someone face to face. Appointments can be made in the afternoon at their other surgery. As stated in a previous review, dissatisfied patients can always walk with their feet and go elsewhere. Well done everybody and have a Happy & Healthy New Year.

  6. Review titled Reassuring

This is the first time I've been able to see a GP face to face, since I became ill 2 years ago. Registering was no problem and I saw my GP for the first time last week. It took him just 5 minutes to remove a cyst while in his surgery, I'd like to see AI do that. Thank you, very reassuring.

  8. Review titled Excellent Practice

Rated 5 stars out of 5

Just moved to the area and has to change from a very good practice to White Cliffs. What a wonderful service White Cliffs offers. All the staff are so pleasant and the GPs work so hard to get through the open appointment clinics. Very happy with the service.

We have been with this practice a number of years, and have found the staff and the doctors very helpful at all times especially through the covid pandemic. The nurses are always very cheerful and take a lot of care.
