    Had an ultrasound to assess an ongoing problem. Test results finally came through. Yippee must finally be time for treatment. No, it is apparently "our policy to wait for 2 weeks following text message to make appointment to discuss results" The results that have already come in to the Dr. Basically wait another 2 weeks before attempting to get an appointment further delaying treatment. What kind of policy is that!!! Delay from hospital to get appt then delay from Dr to discuss results. Why all the delay?!!! It makes no sense. Just do your job and treat patients in pain or unwell.

    Dear M Sadak, Thank you for your feedback. I am Sajeela Ahmed the Practice Manager, I apologise for your experience in making an appointment. Looking into what happened, you were sent a text message to make an appointment within two weeks. This message is only sent to patients when the doctor after reviewing the results, and using their clinical judgement, classifies the problem as non urgent where a patient can wait for 2 weeks as they have to reserve the same day and same week's appointments for more urgent problems and emergencies for the day. I can see that you were booked in for an appointment with the doctor on 08.06.2023, I hope this has resolved your issue. You are more than welcome to approach me at 0208 498 4988.     The forest surgery have excellent doctors who have helped me with my knee problems. I have been given quick appointments and well taken care of. A wonderful and clean GP.

    He is always smiling, kind, respectful, helpful and pays attention to the detail. Well equipped with the process knowledge. He is a good role model for other staff at forest surgery. Keep up the good work.

    Always very kind, smiling, helpful and knowledgeable with queries. Never shy away to go the extra mile. Keep up the good work. I always enjoy engaging with her she is a good role model.

    Reception staff were quick to help me and very pleasant. I feel there has been a big improvement. As always I felt I had the best advice from the doctor.

    I’ve been with this practise since I was a toddler. I came a few days back to get an appointment for my child who may have asthma. They told me to come in at 8am. How am I supposed to do this if I’m a working parent? I also didn’t get a confirmation of another appointment. I called at 8am and the answer machine said it was closed :/ I called at 8:30, I was waiting for 15 minutes for nothing. I filled out a e consult form, and it suggested I should call and make an appointment however when I called, the rude and selfish receptionist said they’re closing soon and there’s no appointments. It needs to be more flexible for working parents and children must be prioritised. My child is still wheezing and waking up at night and I haven’t yet got an appointment for my child. I will be changing my doctors surgery as soon as I can.

    Dear Zaina, Thank you for your feedback, my name is Sajeela Ahmed and I am the Practice Manager. I am very sorry to hear about your experience at The Forest Surgery. At the moment we are really running short of emergency appointments on the day especially the week commencing 13.06.2022 as the main GP was off sick. I understand that you are a working parent and it is not possible for you to attend the Practice at 8am. We also try to sign post the patient to the Out of Hours services but unfortunately this week we had very limited appointments to offer to the patients. Looking into your records, your child was seen on 13.06.2022 accompanied by the Grandad as you were at work and you also attended NHS 111 the same day and was seen at the Urgent Treatment Centre at Whipps Cross.
