    Dear All Having had a very bad accident falling off a ladder 14th Jan, I was was discharged by the Northern General hospital with pain killers that very soon ran out. I contacted Cape Horn medical centre yesterday morning and asked if someone could write a prescription for me, there was a letter on file from the Northern General regarding my injury. The receptionist was most supportive, interested and more importantly willing to do her best for me although she could not promise, within 3 hours I had had an email from the chemist on Thompson Hill that my medication was ready to be picked up. what a service !! In an era that complaints are the norm and the health service takes a hammering I am thrilled to say well done. I worked in the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS trust for 30 years and I know what it is like to deal with complaints whilst the best is being done, on this occasion you can be really proud of your actions and the care and consideration I was given. Great job

    Disgusting been trying to get appointment for my mum for over 4 weeks the receptionist is so rude always says ring back at 8am when you tell them you have been doing that for weeks they answer well there's nothing we can do in a very rude manner you start to explain that you would accept phone appointment with doctor same answer nothing left call back in morning and put phone down on you yes we have tried iheart but unfortunately not been able to get through still no excuse for receptionist to be so rude you then resort to going to desk in person to be told you must leave if you haven't got an appointment!!! And won't even listen to you asking for an appointment What are the elderly and ill people supposed to do talk about respect your elders very disappointing service from receptionist when you do see a doctor or nurse they are great and understanding think its about time they had new receptionist that was better trained

    This practice is a total disgrace to the NHS. It used to be an okay doctors you now wait weeks to get an appointment and when you do they change it without notifiying you so when you arrive your appointment was actually changed to thr day before and it looks like you missed it. This was apparently sent to me through the app which I've told them on numerous occasions I cannot get to work on my phone. When you speak to the receptionists they are rude and are zero help. I know I'm not the only person struggling with this GP as I have even reading Google reviews with the same complaint. I have applied to change doctors and have advised my children and grand children to do the same so we can actually get an appointment and be seen with zero changes and being spoken to like dirt. You ring at 8am wait and can't get a same day appointment like I always get told. Let's hope someone doesn't need an emergency appointment one day because the service is shocking.

    As a family we have visited The Hoyland Centre on many occasions over the past 3 months and have had an extremely friendly but professional service from all the staff we have spoken to from Admin to Nurses and Doctors. Referrals that were discussed have been carried out promptly . Cannot fault the continued service at all especially how the nurses and doctors spoke to our 89 years old parent, treating them with dignity and respect. Well done and thank you
