    I joined the practice with my wife when we moved into the area. I looked carefully at the reviews left on this site and was very impressed with the fact that each review, both positive and negative, elicited a response from the practice appropriate to the contents and showed the reviews had been read. I had need to visit the practice shortly after joining. I rang the number early in the day and was put in the queue. However the message invited me to press 1 for a ring-back, which I did. This resulted in me receiving a call back promptly. I discussed my needs and was given a face-to-face appointment at a mutually agreeable time with a nurse-practitioner who was able to diagnose and prescribe appropriately. Since this initial appointment I have had follow-up sessions, both face-to-face and over the telephone with the nurse-practitioner again, a practice nurse, pharmacist, GP and the practice receptionist. I have been very happy with the standard of care I've received and with the friendly and approachable attitude of all staff at the practice.

    Thought it was only right to leave a positive comment. I called yesterday wanting to book an appointment for a steroid injection (with MSK) and was told I needed to call back in the morning which I have done and after a short wait I was greeted by a lovely receptionist who listened and understood and made the appropriate appointment today. Thank you !

    I have multiple chronic health complaints and have been a patient here for 8 years. I've consistently received wonderful care from multiple drs and nurses at chapel Street. I've always been able to get an appointment when needed and have found receptionists friendly and helpful. I'm very grateful to this practice and think they do a wonderful job.

    Try ringing for over a hour to get no answer but then walk in and not one person is on the phone just 2 receptionists talking making u feel like your putting them out not actually doing what they are paid to do I personally think the receptionist need some people skills

    I swapped to this surgery after moving to the area and have found it the worst I have ever experienced in the NHS in several decades. The phone service is often unanswered, the reception staff are arrogant and unhelpful, the GP's tend to avoid face to face consultations if they can send it to someone else to deal with. Overall a poorly managed and run service. I'd recommend that anyone looking to use them re-consider and, if possible, register elsewhere. They are a discredit on the NHS.

    We are sorry to learn of your dissatisfaction when contacting the surgery recently and would welcome a meeting to discuss these further. Managing the appointment system is a constant challenge and you will appreciate that it is difficult to design a system that equitably satisfies all requests. Please rest assured we are providing face to face appointments and have been doing so throughout the pandemic. We do acknowledge that our telephone and appointment systems are not perfect, however we are working very hard on improving these for our patients and are continually monitoring them to ensure they are as good as we can make them.     Awful getting an appointment, even when you have abnormal test results and receive a text saying please phone to book an appointment to speak to a doctor, it also says this on the results form. So call to be told no appointment and will be put on a list, but don't bother sending a text asking me to book them, just put me on the list and text the time and date. Completely pointless surgery and blood pressure increase just the thought of calling them. It don't matter it was only a liver abnormal level
