I and my family have been with this practice for over 70yrs and only attend when absolutely necessary, unfortunately I had the misfortune of having to contact them this morning as my daughter had a swollen neck and was finding it difficult to swallow, on eventually getting through to a receptionist I was informed that she should go to the chemist first rather than see a doctor, after an exchange of words explaining the risks of swollen airways and so I was reluctantly given an appointment, what has happened to our nhs

I received a text saying my GP would call a week later concerning test results. I used the link it contained to say that because of my job I need a specific time. I then received a voicemail saying this was impossible. The day before the call was due I received a text saying I had to be at the surgery the following day. I called to check which message was correct and after 12 minutes on hold I was told that “these texts go out by accident sometimes” and that my GP would call at 230pm. It is now 425pm and there has not been a call.

I had a phone call today and was made to feel like an inconvenience because I can't attend the surgery. It's not my fault I'm ill and have mobility issues. I was also upset by the comment made that the telephone call next week to discuss xray results, which the surgery arranged, not me, was probably going to be pointless. If you think it's going to be pointless then don't arrange it. I've got mental health issues, I could well be doing without the surgery behaving like this.

Asked for appointment took 2 days was given appointments for next week on Monday but got appointment for bloods that day. Asked nurse to check still have appointment Monday she said no it’s changed to Wednesday. On Wednesday went for appointment told they had tried to contact me Gp was off sick. I did not get any messages showed my phone to confirm. Then was told can speak to Gp for 5 mins only Gp changed medication but did not see her for the reason I went she didn’t have time told make appointment. Receptionist said ring 8 am tomorrow. Rang for 2 days gave up

I've been seeing this doctor for over three months. I tried booking an appointment more than thrice, but they refused to book me an appointment with surgery without valid reasons. Sometimes a phrase is fully booked. I've also attempted to repeat my medication. They informed me that they did not see any medication in my medical records and that I had to contact my former GP for a prescription. However, I am currently having difficulty repeating my medicine, and I ran out approximately two weeks ago. I went to the GP reception twice and asked for my prescription to be ordered. Nonetheless, they stated that they found no medication in my medical records. My previous GP could not provide me with any medicine because It has been over three months since I moved my GP.
