Who can take lymecycline

Most adults and children over the age of 12 years can take lymecycline.

Who may not be able to take lymecycline

Lymecycline is not suitable for some people. To make sure this medicine is safe for you, tell your doctor if you:

  • have ever had an allergic reaction to lymecycline or any other medicine
  • are pregnant, trying to get pregnant or breastfeeding
  • have kidney problems
  • have liver problems
  • have an autoimmune condition called lupus
  • have myasthenia gravis – a rare condition that causes muscle weakness
