Who can use hydrocortisone for skin
Most adults and children aged 10 years old and over can use hydrocortisone skin treatments.
Children under 10 years old can use hydrocortisone skin treatments if their doctor recommends it.
Who may not be able to use hydrocortisone for skin
Hydrocortisone is not suitable for some people. To make sure it's safe for you, tell your pharmacist or doctor before starting to use the medicine if you:
- have ever had an allergic reaction to hydrocortisone or any other medicine
- have a skin infection or eye infection
- are breastfeeding
