Who can use beclometasone skin cream

Most adults and children aged 1 year old and over can use beclometasone skin cream.

Who may not be able to use beclometasone skin cream

Beclometasone cream or ointment may not be suitable for some people.

To make sure it's safe for you, tell a pharmacist or doctor before using it if you:

  • have ever had an allergic reaction to beclometasone or any other medicine
  • have broken skin, cuts, or itchy skin that is not inflamed or red
  • have a skin infection – using beclometasone could make a skin infection worse or cause it to spread
  • have acne or severe flushing of skin on and around your nose, cheeks, forehead and chin that comes and goes (rosacea)
