We aim to provide our patients with a high standard of medical care in a caring and professional manner. The ethos of our practice is to treat others how we ourselves would wish to be treated and we respectfully ask that you do the same.
Up-to-date news about current health-related activities at the surgery is featured in our quarterly newsletter "Surgery Snippets", available via our website www.wrmc.org.uk.
As an approved teaching and training practice, ongoing education is key:
* for ourselves - to keep up-to-date with treatment choices & good practice;
* for our patients - to enable them to benefit from good quality advice, treatment & supported self-care; &
* for the doctors & students we teach - to develop good habits & safe working practices.
To this end, we have extended our ethos to include "... and to educate others to sustain good quality patient care." We also value your help and support with the doctors and students we train – real patients talking to our students about their health problems provides a valuable learning opportunity, very different than textbooks!
As good communication is at the heart of the personal service we provide, we also value your feedback [see Friends & Family Test topic] and use this to constantly review and improve our services to you. During the time you’re registered with us, if you have any suggestions about how we might improve our services for you (within the resources we have available) then please share these with us; we are happy to hear and consider your suggestions.
We look forward to working with you and in your best interests to improve or manage your health needs, keeping you as healthy as possible.
