Our national partners

To be successful, Change4Life faces the challenge of getting families to change their lifestyles. We work with national partners, including commercial brands, government departments and NGOs, to reach far more people than we could alone. Many of these brands can talk to our audience in ways that we can’t - and we can use this to help influence people’s behaviour.

The Local Authority Caterers Association (LACA)

The Local Authority Caterers Association (LACA) is delighted to support Change4Life. During the forthcoming National School Meals Week, which will be held in November this year, LACA will be promoting the messages of Change4Life in all its promotional campaigns, events and activities.

Both organisations recognise the importance of good school food and have worked together for a number of years, for example, in 2010, LACA’s School Catering Sector Awards Scheme included a dedicated Change4Life Award.

As part of LACA’s pledge, LACA members who are both the providers of food services in schools nationwide and the school catering industry suppliers will be committed to promoting the key messages of Change4Life, in particular, how eating school lunch is an easy way for young people to have 'one regular meal a day' which can also contribute at least two of the recommended 5 A DAY fruit and vegetable portions.
