About PALS

The Patient Advice and Liaison Service, known as PALS, has been introduced to ensure that the NHS listens to patients, their relatives, carers and friends, and answers their questions and resolves their concerns as quickly as possible.

PALS also helps the NHS to improve services by listening to what matters to patients and their loved ones and making changes, when appropriate.

Information

We are continually trying to improve the services we provide. Please let us know about things we are doing well or if you have any suggestions about how services can be improved.

You can find the patient experience team in the main concourse at the University Hospital of North Tees opposite the tower block lifts.

Members of the team are available to speak to visitors face-to-face between 1.30pm – 4.30pm Monday to Friday or by phone between 9am and 4pm.
