Services offered

Sexual assault referral centres offer medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been sexually assaulted or raped. They have specially trained pediatrician / Forensic Nurse Examiners (FNE) and support workers to care for you.

General notes

Service details

Our sexual assault referral centre offers medical, practical and emotional support to anyone who has been sexually assaulted or raped. We have specially trained support staff and doctors and nurses to care for you. You can self refer to the centre for advice, support and a forensic medical examination (if applicable). If you are considering reporting the assault to the police we can explain the process and what would happen and support you to report. Or we can share anonymous information with the police on your behalf. We also can arrange ongoing support from an Independent Sexual Violence Advisor (ISVA), Counselling and Sexual Health follow up services.
