About
Sudbury Newstalk is a member of the Talking Newspaper Federation and was launched in November 1981. In common with many other audio newspapers and magazines throughout the country, we provide a service for the visually impaired by recording local news, views, information and entertaining listening on a regular basis.
Currently there are about 70 recipients of our recordings living in and around Sudbury, including listeners in local residential accommodation. We operate from a recording studio in the heart of Sudbury, Suffolk, and work closely with St Edmundsbury Newstalk who both copy our master recordings and distribute them on our behalf.
Opening times
We record a fortnightly audio Newspaper. We also create an audio Magazine every two months.
