Community transport is the general name for a wide range of services provided by local groups across Shropshire. These include Shropshire Community Cars, 'Dial-a-Ride' and transport information lines. Many of these are entirely operated by volunteers and they aim to provide services and transport for people whose needs can not be met in any other way. The council provides funding for many of these services.

Community transport is available for anyone who can not access public transport, where public transport is not available and those without access to any other suitable transport for their journey.
