About
Refugee and Migrant Network Sutton (RMNS) is a charity providing free immigration-related advice and English language classes to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants living or working in Sutton.
On Mondays RMNS host the International Coffee Club 10 AM to 12 AM at Trinity Church in Sutton, term time only for advanced speakers who would like to practice their English in a mixed group.
We offer English classes at two locations:
• Trinity Church, Sutton (SM1 1DZ): Classes are held during term time on Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM, covering six levels (from Foundation to Entry Level 3). A crèche service is available.
• Bishop Andrewes Church, Carshalton (SM5 1RG): Classes are held during term time on Tuesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM, specifically for beginners.
We also run Art for Wellbeing short-term courses termly.
Our qualified advice worker is available by appointment and can provide information on immigration, asylum support, housing, benefits, education and health. To make an appointment at Granfers Community Centre, Phone: 07725 549411 or Email: office@rmns.org.uk
One2One advocacy service is available for RMNS’ clients or students who may need some additional support regarding their struggles around education, housing or health or ‘non-advice’ areas connected to their immigration status to achieve their goals.
