If you are 40-74 years old without a pre-existing condition and are registered with a GP you should receive a [letter/text] inviting you for a free NHS Health Check every 5 years.

Opportunistic NHS health checks for residents that come into the pharmacies that meet the eligibility criteria.

Description of service

The NHS Health Check is a simple check of your heart health. Aimed at adults in England aged 40 to 74, it checks your vascular or circulatory health and works out your risk of developing some of the most disabling – but preventable – illnesses. It is free of charge, including any follow-up tests or appointments.
