Stroke information and support Life After Stroke Communication Support Service
Contact us
Description
A stroke often affects a person’s ability to communicate, and they may have difficulty saying words, writing, reading or understanding words and numbers. Communication Support Services work with stroke survivors and their carers living with the effect of communication difficulties. The service creates opportunities to develop communication strategies, rebuild confidence and get back to life after stroke. Support is delivered through group workshops, community activity and one to one volunteer support.
