About

London Sports Forum for Disabled People is the lead strategic development agency for sport and physical activity for disabled people in London. Our vision is to achieve an active and inclusive capital. At present three quarters of all disabled Londoners do not participate in any sport or physical activity. For this to change, sport and physical activity providers and policy makers must take on the responsibility to create and deliver opportunities that include disabled people.

London Sports Forum for Disabled People's core role is to ensure that providers and policy makers understand and act upon their responsibility to be inclusive of disabled people. To ensure this happens, we use our expertise and influence to advocate inclusive sport. We support appropriate delivery agents to build and sustain the opportunities for disabled people to participate in sport. We also ensure that disabled people are aware of how they can get involved, at all levels, in sport and physical activity in London. To achieve our vision requires an overall culture change within society. We are the agent for this change and we have the passion and drive to ensure equality and inclusion is at the heart of grass root sport provision in London.
