The Early Years Advisor for visual impairment provides support to children aged 0-5 who are blind or visually impaired and their families.The advisor offers home visits to help with learning, advice on play equipment and materials and information on local services access.

The Inclusion Advisory Service is a range of centrally funded services to support inclusion. The service consists of a team of experienced teachers with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) qualifications and expertise, who offer support and advice to schools, with the aim of overcoming barriers to learning. The Inclusion Advisory Service works with whole schools, Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs), class teachers, teaching assistants, pupils, parents and a range of other professionals.
