Huddersfield Society for the Blind offers social activities, transport escorts, visits and aids.

The Huddersfield Society for the Blind was established in 1859 to provide activities and facilities for blind and partially sighted people living within the Huddersfield area.

About Us

Although times have changed the need to combat isolation and loneliness is still the same, to this end the Society offers the following facilities to support members of the Society.

•Social Activities - Once a Month

•Christmas Parties

•Day Trips

•Holidays

•Town Hall Concerts

•Transport & Bus Escorts

•Visits to sick members in hospital

Our office is open Monday, Thursday and Friday 2pm - 4pm
