About

The service is designed to meet the library needs of people who have difficulty visiting a library due to reduced mobility and have no-one who can regularly visit the library on their behalf.

Two library vans visit people in their homes once every four weeks across all areas of Tameside. Customers can choose from a selection of books and other materials.

There are no age restrictions but the majority of customers tend to be older people or those who have difficulty leaving their home.
