About

Day Service, one-to-one outreach and community support groups for adults affected by acquired brain injury including stroke in Norfolk and Waveney. Programmes and sessions designed to increase independence and confidence, and aid meaningful recovery. Assessments, additional support and goal setting put in place by Occupational Therapists.

Opening times

Day Services open 9:30 – 16:30 with the option of clients having a half or full day.

Great Yarmouth: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Lowestoft: Tuesday

Norwich: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Long Stratton: Monday

Swaffham: Friday

King’s Lynn: Wednesday, Thursday and Friday

Referral method

Anyone can make a referral. Referral forms are available on the website: https://headway-nw.org.uk/about-us/referrals/ Clients can either pay privately for services or apply for funding via adult social services and the local council. Community support groups are a free service.
